Diverse Clinical Experience

Our program offers both inpatient and outpatient Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry training across a wide range of specialties. Fellows gain hands-on experience working with:

  • Hospice & Palliative Care teams
  • Ethics Consult services
  • Geriatrics, Neurology, Oncology, Transplant Psychiatry
  • Pain, HIV, Maternal-Infant Psychiatry
  • Integrated Care, ECT, and Telepsychiatry

Interdisciplinary Training

Fellows work alongside a rich team of medical students, residents, PhD psychologists, social workers, and clinical nurse specialists in a truly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.


Integrated Care Training

As part of UW Medicine, a national leader in integrated care, all fellows receive advanced training in delivering psychiatric treatment in primary care settings.
Features include:

  • Weekly Integrated Care Didactics (2 hours/week)
  • Hands-on management of an integrated care clinic
  • Optional implementation project with expert mentorship
  • Certificate in Integrated Care awarded upon completion

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
